My name is David Kilgallon. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and founder of Calm Harbors Counseling. I have extensive experience working with individuals ranging in age from 18-40. Struggles with any number of challenges: anger, stress, irritability anxiety, sadness, and difficulty focusing can make the simplest of daily tasks an overwhelming challenge. In providing a space for you to focus on yourself and organizing your thoughts, I hope to help you use your limited time and energy to find a healthy balance of the "Needs" and "Wants" in your life. By pulling from a variety of counseling strategies including, but not limited to: Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy, I am able to help a person identify, prioritize, and navigate challenges they most commonly encounter. Most importantly, I strive to instill hope that with some willingness, time, and effort tomorrow will be better than today.
